Three Brothers Peak

Three Brothers Peak is part of the Kumbel Ridge. The name “Kumbel” comes from the Kazakh words “kum,” meaning sand, and “bel,” meaning spine or ridge. This translates to “sandy ridge” or “ridge without eternal snow.” In Russian, Kumbel is often referred to as the “Dry Ridge” due to the lack of permanent snow cover.

Height and Unique Features

The peak stands at an altitude of 2,850 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. What makes Three Brothers Peak truly remarkable is the presence of three massive rock formations positioned along the ridge. These striking formations resemble towering figures and are clearly visible from the ascent route, giving the peak its distinctive name.
